WRITING

Facing the blank page.

Every product of popular culture comes to life through a combination of creativity, courage, and craft. As a screenwriter, I’m proud to say that my work has been recognized by Austin Film Festival (“Midsummer,” 2nd Rounder for Comedy Feature), Ivy Film Festival (“Sweethearts,” Graduate Feature Finalist), and Stowe Story Labs (“Empower” TV Pilot, Selected Participant for the Writers Room Program). I get such a thrill seeing stories pop on the page!

Sharing stories with others.

I’m lucky to have been a part of the creative development of a television drama in development at AMC Networks as the writers room Script Coordinator. As a member of IATSE 871, I worked closely with professional writers room to break story, hone character bios, outline episodes, and ensure that every detail tracked across an internally coherent universe. There’s an electric energy that comes with gathering such talented people together!

Building on a strong foundation.

I’m fascinated by the medium of cinema! I have great respect for the masterful storytellers who have contributed to its development. I hold a B.A. in Cinematic Arts from the University of Southern California where my studies centered on film scholarship, critical studies, and multimedia literacy. Moving from the theoretical to the practical, I received my M.F.A in Writing for Film and Television from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts.
