CONSULTING
Stories connect us.
Since the dawn of language, storytelling has been a powerful tool for connecting with others. I believe we have so much that we can learn from each other. As a consultant, I’ve been asked to speak and teach at a number of conferences, including leading a panel discussion on “Book to Film” adaptations at the Willamette Writers Conference in Portland, Oregon. Sharing knowledge and expertise.
As a script coordinator, I work with individual clients to provide in-depth script analysis, assess a project’s strengths and areas for improvement, and brainstorm new ways to explore and refine their stories. In addition to working with private clients, I acted as a reader for the Universal Writers Program through the Global Talent Development & Inclusion group for a number of years. I have also judged the LaunchPad Manuscript Competition.
We learn from each other.
Teaching film and television is a passion of mine. Every January, I teach “Producing for Screenwriters” to Emerson College MFA students. I’m also given the opportunity to moderate Table Reads of student work. I always leave these sessions feeling energized by a new generation of storytellers who are using their voices to share diverse and unique perspectives. The fierce bravery these students bring to their artistic work inspires me!
